SafeHands® School Program to help fight spread of MRSA

"Sanitize your hands whenever you can"
geared toward changing student behavior

BOCA RATON, Fla. - SafeHandsï½®, Inc. is marketing its proprietary alcohol-free instant hand sanitizer to help prevent the spread of germs including the deadly MRSA. MRSA is known to spread from hand-to-hand contact, has resulted in the death of at least one student and has made hundreds of others seriously ill across the country. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently declared that fatalities from this "Superbug " may even surpass the death toll of AIDS.

SafeHands founder and CEO Dr. Jay Reubens stated, "We are receiving calls from school officials across the country expressing concern about the health and safety of their students." SafeHands recently began marketing its alcohol-free product to schools, day care centers and prisons in response to their ban on alcohol hand sanitizers. SafeHands national launch will take place at the ISSA Show on October 24, 2007 at the Orange County Florida Convention Center in Orlando.

SafeHands products have been subjected to stringent microbiological laboratory and independent human subject testing at California State University, Fresno where it was proven that SafeHands has a more persistent kill rate of germs than alcohol sanitizers without any drying effects on hands.

Dr. Reubens added, "Most people do not realize that alcohol kills germs by stripping away the skin's natural oils. This is why there are so many complaints about the skin drying and cracking. The drier and more cracked the hands become, the more likely germs will be trapped in the skin, which leads to a greater potential for cross contamination." Dr. Reubens concluded, "SafeHands is the best alternative because it has a germ killing profile that is comparable to alcohol but more persistent and, unlike alcohol, it is non-skin drying, non-toxic and non-flammable."

National Sales Manager Tom Johnson stated that SafeHands' "Sanitize Your Hands Whenever You Can" program for schools is the first of its kind. Our creative in-school posters promote hand sanitizing as both necessary and fun ."

SafeHands products are now available from JF Daley International, with multiple manufacturing locations, and sold through an established national distribution alliance with more than 70 locations across the U.S.
